I Think My Timing Chain Was A Little Loose

I so got the timing chain out and noticed that it had been a really loose for a while!!

i just bought it with 156,xxx. and i have put 3000 on it. still trying to track down the problems and catch the maintance up

Did the oil pan and noticed it. Then with it off found it had a hole in it. The local "you call we pick for you" are retarded, they asked what car I was calling about and said 4.0l jeep Comanche and they say they did not have one so I said well any 4.0l jeep would work and he replied with "I just said I don't have one for a jeep Comanche." You can't tell me that there is not a timing chain cover on a 4.0l jeep in every junkyard around the world? So hope by the end of the week I will have a new one :(

I may have one from a 4.0 1989 if my dad dint scrap it or destroy it. I can check it would be cheap.

They do, but I was just curious if it was caused by a dead tensioner or not. The 2.5 has one, the 4.0 does not.
