hedstrom
Hey guys, just want to say I have learned a lot through your site and am grateful for it. But I am currently having a problem and cannot seem to find any answers. At the end of November I was sitting in my MJ at a stoplight and a 16 year old girl hit me at about 30. Needless to say I have a pretty messed up bumper right now. I found a FEY replacement online for a reasonable price, the problem is that I cannot find the rear bumper mounts/ brackets anywhere. The ones on there now are FUBAR'd so I need to find some new ones. If anyone could help point me in a direction it would be much appreciated. Thanks!! MJRemi
I don't believe anyone makes new brackets but a few guys might have some for sale. Also, parts trucks and having some made at a shop can be options. Shortbed and longbed brackets are not the same length so be certain which ones you need. Post up in the wanted section and put your location. You might find a seller.
MJRemi
Right here on ebay, http://www.ebay.com/...5b1124d&vxp=mtr I just saw this post but those don't look like any rear brackets I've seen on my trucks. Has anyone used these with success?
jimoshel
I have several trucks with the Fey bumper. The mounting bracket does look like the one shown. The biggest difference between Fey and MJ original brackets is the original mounts on both the side of the frame, 4 holes, and under the frame, 1 hole. I think I'd just get a couple pieces of angle iron and fire up the cutting torch and welder.
hedstrom
Thanks a lot everyone. I wasn't sure if the Fey used those special brackets or if they used OEM brackets.
jimoshel
MJ brackets FEY bracket You will notice in these pics the Fey brackets are bent, To allow the same bumper to be used with MJ, S10, Ranger, etc. I also have a Fey from a MJ where the brackets are straight. No pics due to weeds an mud. You will notice the fey brackets are flat stock. The MJ are flat and angles, welded together.

87MJTIM
I bought a Fey recently and ordered the brackets with it. The bracket is in between the old and new. The bumper attached.
hedstrom
So, in theory I should be able to take my old brackets off and the fey brackets will use the existing holes to bolt the new bumper up to?

Yes, the Fey bracket fit on the side of the frame. The original brackets bolt on the side and bottom of the frame.
