Biotex
I still have the original lug wrench, jack and the handle behind the seats. The jack is stuck in the raised position, so I was thinking of ditching it all and going with something that works better. What are my options? XJ gear? gogmorgo
I've got an ancient 2-ton hydraulic bottle jack I "inherited" from my still-living grandfather. Straps into the spot where the screw jack goes. I've never used it to lift my truck, so I don't know where I'd put it, but the screw jack that the PO had in it was pretty mangled so I didn't trust it. I've been thinking of finding someone with better fabrication skills than mine to put the head of the screw jack onto the bottle, but that's not gone past thinking. BTW, I'm really not a fan of screw jacks... takes ten minutes to accomplish what a hydraulic jack can do in thirty seconds with a hell of a lot less effort on your part. As for the lug nuts, the tire iron was stripped, so I ditched it, but the bottle jack's handle works well as a breaker bar on a ratchet.

Place the original and a second jack under your rear axil. Raise the axil with the second jack. Remove the wheel. Slowly lower the 2nd jack until the axil contact the 1st. Continue lowering 2nd - leave in place. Now, lower the 1st to compress it down. When fully compressed, raise the axil with the 2nd. Reinstall wheel, etc., etc., etc. Worked for me. Now my original fully compresses and works just fine.
Eagle
The XJ had the exact same jack and handle, stowed under the rear seat. If you can't un-stick your jack, just pick up an XJ jack from a junkyard.
danbyrambler
This would/should also check exhaust system strength at same time - - lol http://www.ebay.com/itm/Titan-Exhaust-Air-Jack-Vehicle-Lift-New-TTC-2-0-/350665806891?pt=Motors_Automotive_Tools&hash=item51a54f942b&vxp=mtr :D
conker
Hi-lift and collapsable 4 way. I'd say this, when I leave to 4wheel I jam the hilift behind the rollbar and put a bike lock on it. I should probably get a lug wrench since I've got 2 sizes of lugnuts on my jeep...
