Paint For Plastic Parts

Did a search and nothing came up, What would you guys recommend for painting black plastic body parts (farings, grill, the little vent thingys near the doors) They are a little weathered and I wanted to add some life to them. Any suggestions?

Definitely not Krylon Fusion! SEM makes excellent spray paints that will adhere excellent to plastic.

SEM is the only way to go. It's more of a dye than paint, unlike krylon. Expensive stuff, but well worth it.

I used Kylon on my flares with very good results. Survived months in the FL elements without running and fading.

 

Go with the good stuff. Just remember, it doesn't matter if it's "high quality" paint; what matters is the prep-work you do beforehand to make sure it adheres well. That's how you can make paint look good even if it's with cheap materials.

Wipe them down with paint thinner, don't flood them or let it stay on too long. They will look brand new!!
