My steering coupling on the steering column directly under the brake booster is slipping bad, I don't want to drive my truck this way I've read about different ways to fix this problem what would you guys recommend? I have access to a welder if it helps.

Nevermind, I fixed it it was the steering linkage (the rubber piece with the steel sleeve )that went bad I drilled a hole all the way through and put a bolt an nut.

Lol, look at the steering shaft that comes out of the firewall directly under the brake booster there's a rubber coupling piece,the outer sleeve (made of steel) was slipping, I drilled a hole all the way through the steering shaft and put a bolt and nut to keep it from slipping.
