big66440 Posted November 14, 2012 Share Posted November 14, 2012 My steering coupling on the steering column directly under the brake booster is slipping bad, I don't want to drive my truck this way I've read about different ways to fix this problem what would you guys recommend? big66440 Posted November 21, 2012 Author Share Posted November 21, 2012 Lol, look at the steering shaft that comes out of the firewall directly under the brake booster there's a rubber coupling piece,the outer sleeve (made of steel) was slipping, I drilled a hole all the way through the steering shaft and put a bolt and nut to keep it from slipping.
