Hi all. I'm brand new here, and I know this is probaly the wrong place to post this, but I had a question about what I could sell my truck for. It's a 1992 comanche. It has a hard tonnue cover on the back, and really has no mechanical issues. It's 5spd manuel with leather bucket seats, and the inside is very clean. I do have pics of it, but I'm not sure how to post them here, sorry. There is some rust on the bottom of the doors, and a couple other areas, but nothing that somone who knows what they're doing couldn't fix, though it will need a new back bumper. Would it be out of the realm of possibility to get four or so grand for it?

I know 92s are rare as hens teeth, soooo post some pics and lets see what we are dealin with. Photobucket is your best bet to be able to post pictures.

Depending on the condition you could very easily get 4k out of it, but it would have to be in more than just average condition. What other kinds of extras does it have? A/C? Power anything? Mileage? 4.0 or 2.5? 4x4?

It has A/C, power steering, it's a 4.0 and 4x4,and a nice CD player has been installed. I don't recall the mileage right now, but I believe it's somewhere in the realm of 125,000.

Why are the rear tires not centered in the wheel wells? Something looks weird there. With the rust I just don't see 4K. No offense intended sir.

What is the build date on the drivers door and or the last 6 of the VIN?

I see 1500 to 2000 in the condition its in around here if it were out west maybe 300-500.

I bet you could easily get $1500 MINIMUM out East based on looks alone; but as previously stated, you won't be getting much at all out West for it. If it's mechanically sound, and runs like a top, shifts on the fly, and has a lot of pep; clearing 2k won't be a foreseeable problem.. as long as the buyer doesn't want to knock $400 off for the rust. :ack:

No ones ever really commented on the wheels before, and I've never had an issue with them. The previous owners had a plow on the truck, and put air suspension on it, so I could let out air and lower them down I'm sure, but I actually like how it looks. Thanks God I'm not out west, I'm in NY, about as east as can be. For those prices though, I think I'll keep it. It was my first vehicle and really is an awesome truck, so unless someone offers me drastically more for it for some reason, I'll hold on to it i think. I'm at work at the moment, and the truck is in my buddies garage, but I could get the Vin of the title when I get home.

The VIN will tell us how close you are to the last one made. Cross your fingers for a 223,000+ serial and a '92 build.
