johnj92131
So why does this fellow want to sell such a great truck? What is he going to buy that is better? People are stupid. I know what is right and wrong with my Comanche. I have literaly dumped thousands of dollars into fixing it after an accident and having it stolen. then recovered. I know what has been done right to fix the truck. Sometime, down the road, I need to rebuild the transmission and the engine, to get rid or fluid leaks. But when the truck gets used 3-4K miles a year, it is hard to do everything right away. What else can I use to haul 2200 lbs. of cement blocks home from the Home Depot? And haul more than 3000 lbs of back yard waste to the dump? I really love this truck for the work horse it is. And I get to write off the repair costs on my taxes, because it is a work truck. I don't really care about the 13-15 mpg when the truck is working. Just a cost of doing business.

Here's what U can use at a home depot; Their truck! - - - - It's a flat bed rental with a 3200 lb wt limit - no hitch - has ramps - home depot calls it a "Load N Go" - is supposed to be for customers to get their larger purchases home, BUT the typical poorly trained person doing the rental isn't going to ask if you're buying anything - If you are buying, fine - just make a FREE rental a condition of the purchase - Free rental will be automatic unless U ask at a busy time/day, like a Sat afternoon - - - - - Rental rates are $19 1st 75min - $69 all day - Store mgrs go PFG if U tell 'em it;s an all day so say nothing - the others could care less but still best to say nada about all day - Also, the truck is supposed to have a full tank of gas when it;s rented - HAH! - They have a 40 Gal tank & usually it's filled by the previous renter just enough to get the needle to register full - NOT THAT ANYONE'S GONNA CHECK IT - Odds are a different person will handle the return - IF you're told about being responsible for gas used & to have a receipt upon return just do as most and have the Mrs or someone behind U at the closest gas station on the return trip & put the fuel in that vehicle - give that receipt to whomever If that person should ask for it & that's a big IF. - - - - I was a THD tool rental Mgr & service tech at the end of my working career - Was an eye opener.
Comanche County
Umm, but it doesn't have 235 hp. No MJ does from the factory.. I just love smelling out a used car salesman.
dfreeman616
but it was just rebuilt! and the dents in the front brake up the boxy front end so it has better aerodynamics, so that gains like 10 hp alone! grill removed? saves weight! lol
Minuit
You're all wrong. It does have 235 HP. That sticker, you see it? 10 HP. And don't you all know that torque = horsepower? :rotfl2: Stupid salespeople.
