SnowManche
ok so here it is, after building, driving, and wheeling my 95 YJ on 35's with a 4 cylinder and soft top I was ready for something I could go on real trips with that was somewhat bearable. I always like Cherokee's but just wasn't into so much body and it was near impossible to find a decent one with a 5 speed. After that I started looking at Toyota's because I thought a solid axle swap might be a nice project(at this point I had decided I wanted a pickup). Well I hated the feel of the Toyota's and gave up on that search too. That's when it hit me, a Comanche was in order! Shortly after that realization I came upon a cherry 88 with 160k, orginal california vehicle. Gave the guy a call and $1,800 later it was mine. SnowManche
thanks! wasn't sure how I'd like it at first but it isn't gaudy or anythig like that. I love the subtle aggressive look it game me, and it still leaves me with a good approach angle
SnowManche
Went out with Deschutes County 4 Wheelers to Edison and then with some buddies to Brown's Camp. The body is umm.. not so straight now. We put in an order for steel for sliders and I will be going to town with a cutoff wheel in the next few weekends. We will also be bobbing the bed 16" or so. Pictures to come. 404675_433976606659478_563674224_n by snowmanche, on Flickr Look at the bed behind the cab.. angry trees  Untitled by snowmanche, on Flickr Here it is all clean coming over the pass back to school. Not much to say about it recently.. did a little bit of snow wheeling but other than that been too busy with school and low on funds  I do have to say that it has made two trips between bend,OR and Sparks, NV without a hitch. The ba/10 is still impressing me with it's holdng up to my driving style

mountainman
Any other shots of it from a side view with the cap off? I'm debating heavily if i want 33s or 35s. I LOVE this look, but i also love 35s..lol. 35 MTRs or 35 maxxis bighorns. mmmmm. I just have to drive it every day and i think it will boogy better and get decent mileage with 33s thats why i want them. hmmmmmmm
