Wouldn't know. Every time I get a good one, i lose it.

:rotf: That always happens to me with $30-40 knives

Anyway, i got a Gerber Flik, mainly because its a smaller sized multi tool and has one-handed opening for the pliers, with a lock for the other tools. I'll have to post again, see how well its held up after a week of MY use. I tend to be rather hard on them...FliK-Multi-Plier-Needlenose-Stainless_fulljpg.jpg

Leatherman Charge.

I've had mine in my pocket for 5 years. I use it everyday. At work, in the garage, camping, wheeling, everywhere. I prefer the Charge because it has a pocket clip. I can't stand the belt pouch, that's only something an old person would wear.

can't go wrong with any model Leatherman. They are great tools. My dad has had the same one for probably 20+ years and I plan on having both of mine for just as long at least.

They have many different models with different tools and different sizes so do some research but they are the best

I have a Gerber, can't remember the model now. It's an all black steel multiplier with the one hand flick pliers, interchangeable wire cutters/strippers, as well as an adapter to put a bit drive on one of the tools, allowing me to put on a torx in case I'm in the yard and run into an MJ tail light with the original hardware. Saves me from walking back out to the ZJ to get my torx. Always have them with me.

We've got to sit down and have a talk.

I was trying to find one with a pocket clip, but the Gerber fits in my pocket pretty well, so no big issue. just don't like belt pouches because they get caught on everything.

Finally got home to my computer. Mine is a Gerber MP600. Here is an internet sourced pic:

The socket adapter goes onto the square shank on the phillips. Works good. Like I said, it allows me to carry the torx bits, just in case.
