jpdriver1 Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 for my 90 I purchased new cylinders from team cherokee ---
johnnyc Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 You can remove the lock cylinders and take them to a locksmith. Cost me $10 at the lock guy in the parking lot of Pick-a-Part.
jimoshel Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 AS old as our trucks are there's no telling how much longer the cylinder will work after having a key made for it. I would just get new cylinders.
johnnyc Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 The reason I used a locksmith is because I wanted the door locks to work with the ignition key. I realize that this only works with 91-92 models and that the earlier models have separate door and ignition keys.
