Blue88Comanche
what is involved in replacing the dust / splash shield (or whatever it is called) on the MJ? I managed to bend up the ones on the donor axle and would like to replace them.. Thanks
Geonovast
You gotta pull the unit bearing. Dust shield goes between the bearing and knuckle. Just make sure it's lined up correctly when you put the new one on, or you'll be swearing twice as much when you pull the bearing off for a second time. mvusse
I removed both of mine. Was tired of the screeching whenever I got a gravel pebble stuck between it and the rotor. No issues for almost 4 years now.

ParadiseMJ
I have one intact and 1 missing. When I saw that I'd have remove the bearing to replace it I said no. Doesn't seem to make a difference either way.
