well i have the front clip off for a motor/tranny swap. but I'm considering doing a 97+ conversion and since i would have to swap fenders, and the flares are different what should i do for flares for the rear? i was looking at doing a flatfender knockoff kit. but if anyone has better ideas I'm all ears. i like the look of pre 97 flares they just look better.

You could cut them to fit the 97+ fenders, as far as i know they can be mounted easily.

or you can just leave your fenders right where they are. there's only a minor difference between new and old fenders.

Having early rear flares and late front flares hasn't bothered me too much. But I thought that I'd like them to match. I have a pair of early front flares that I'm going to put on my late front fenders...whenever I get a chance.
