Georgia Bound!!

so my spring break from college is coming up next week, and a buddy of mine is going down to savannah georgia to visit his girlfriend and asked me to tag along. unfortunatly i won't be driving the MJ :( anywho, I'm looking to hit a few junkyards down there to grab some rust free parts (mainly a red door for my 2000 XJ) so is there any good ones to stop at? ive been looking around and i found a few pull-a-parts in the area but the problem with that is that i have to pull it myself and i won't have many tools with me. i'm looking to find a good door, have them pull it, and be on my way. also if there is any CC members that live along the way down, id love to stop and check out your rides :chillin:

i take it you will come down 77 in to columbia SC then head toward the coast, thats how we go to youngstown? there is a pull a part in charlotte. I have been to it a few times and was impressed http://pullapart.com/locations/charlotte.aspx they may have what you need, I think they even list there inventory? might be worth checking out

There's also a pull-a-part in Columbia, SC. If you swing over to Greenville, SC you can hit 2 pull-a-parts. One in Greenville, one in Greer.

if you're near Atlanta, I like S+W auto parts. they are in car-part.com and the prices for most things seem decent.

The Pull-a-Part in Charlotte doesn't get too many 97+ XJs and when they do, they get picked over very quickly. I wouldn't bother stopping unless they haven't been on the lot very long.

You can find good stuff there occasionally, but you have to be on top of it and get there quickly.
