Shock absorber size for SOA, 4wd.com

Recommended Posts

no vibs for me either at 4.5. something else was wrong there.

you'll need that longer track bar. and longer brake lines. and longer sway bar links.

whats a sway bar? :D

it's that thing that helps keep you alive should you need to avoid something in the road. :D

An SYE is a great upgrade. but it is kinda expensive and requires a new driveshaft too. Either way, lifting an MJ up that high will pull the stock driveshaft out about an inch and that can cause issues.

depends on what track bar you go with. the stock piman arm should be retained unless you go with a trackbar with a drop bracket. the track bar and drag link need to be as close to parallel as possible.

(also, the pitman arm from a TJ will give a small drop  )
