1tonMJ Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I installed the trans and transfer case from a 99 Cherokee into my 88 Comanche. All is good, except one thing. On the transfer case shifter linkage, it looks like there was a bracket for the pivot bar to go in, that was on the transmission tunnel of the donor Jeep.I never sw it though. Does anyone know a source for these, or have a diagram so I can fab it? It is triangle shaped, with bolt holes in the top, a larger hole to hold the bar in the bottom, and the top half inch would be angled.

Geonovast Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 After you get one, don't fret too much about installing it, if you hadn't noticed, the 4 holes that need to be drilled to mount it are dimpled in the tunnel.
Dadinator Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Make sure you get one with the right tranny combo so you don't have to modify. The AW4 bracket is drilled slightly differently than the one for the AX15 for example.
