feerocknok Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Does anyone have a pic with em on a Manche? I've seen em on Cherokees but it's just not the same!
DirtyComanche Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Hmm. I have the AR version on mine right now. Or maybe they're the crager version? Anywho, it's a soft 8 (circular holes) but they're chrome, black, rust and dents. If you're into asthetics I doubt it's what your looking for.
Oizarod115 Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 my brothers got the cragar soft 8s on his XJ and they are a bad little rim. not flashy, not BEEFY, not expensive... just right. i would run them heck for 30 bucks a peice shipped thats about half of most american racing rims i've got pics of his XJ you can have if you want, but its a cherokee soo...
feerocknok Posted January 24, 2007 Author Posted January 24, 2007 Guess I should've just said Soft 8s, but Scott, that's exactly what I was looking for, thank you. I'm an '86 on ~5" of lift and 31s, so you win! I like subtle rims, not ugly or flashy, and I need to get rid of the ones I have, so maybe I'll go this route. And a fast crude chop for my own thinking:
Oizarod115 Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 haha, at first glance i thought that was another truck with them ahha. wow. I'm slow
pingpong Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 You mean some rims like these To me they bent real easily, but they bent back just as easily :D
feerocknok Posted January 25, 2007 Author Posted January 25, 2007 Yeah, I guess they're called Rock Krawlers as well :dunno: . Cheapest in town I found was $49 a piece plus balancing, caps, and lug nuts on top of that made it $289 for a set of black steelies.
DirtyComanche Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 8oz of BBs will balance up to about a 34" tire no problem... That's per tire. But I'd jsut phone summit racing. Or go to their online store. They sell the cheap ones and have free shipping in the states. At least, I think they do.
pingpong Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Q-tec or 4wd hardware are like low 30's I think I got a set last time for 120 with shipping
88MJay Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 I'm ordering a set from Summit too. I shopped around and they have the best deal shipped. I tried tons of other places, Quadratech, Jegs, etc. Summit is even cheaper with State sales tax than all the other places without State tax for me.
feerocknok Posted January 25, 2007 Author Posted January 25, 2007 Yeah I shopped around last night and Summit was the cheapest I could find at $36.95 a wheel, and I think shipping is free. I'll prob end up getting em in a month or so, so the credit card can get a break.
