Found oil on my fuse block. Is there a way to repair the leak without replacing the whole CMC?

its not hard to replace the master clutch Cyl. just one bolt on the petal, two on the fire wall, and a flare nut on the MC. replacement will cost $20 - $40. after the swap bleed the line and done. shouldn't take longer than an hour

Nope. Replace it.

 

Be sure you thoroughly clean that stuff off the fuse panel or it'll eat up the connections. I would strongly advocate using silicone brake fluid and flushing out the system. The silicone costs a lot more than regular clutch or brake fluid, but it WON'T corrode the electrics it it leaks, and to me that's worth a lot.

...and use a spray on the box. QD Cleaner/Chemtool etc. If it was me I'd remove/clean/replace all the fuses and contacts. Just get all the fluid off and seal up the firewall as best you can.

Use DOT 5.1 fluid (NOT DOT 5!) It's compatible with Dot3&4 and won't eat up the plastics plus it has a higher boiling point and lower miscible level (water absorption)

I pulled the carpet today and found that there is no oil anywhere on the firewall. It seems to only be on the fuse block. I know that the previous owner replaced the CMC recently. Could this oil just be left over from when it was leaking? What are the places oil would be if there was a leak?

Normally you can see the leak from where the rod slides into the rubber boot. If yours is dry, you can clean up the old fluid and cross your fingers.
