Unless someone confirms otherwise, then I think you need to match year to year. I don't think the motor changed much if any from 87 to 90. Also the other posters price if very good. Geonovast Posted August 5, 2011 Share Posted August 5, 2011 AFAIK, the only difference between 87-90 harnesses is that the 87 might not have a ballast resistor. Also, again not 100% on this, but I think that the XJ and the MJ used different firewall plugs to connect to the dash harness. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
