shawn
bent mine on a stump the other day. i know about the zj stuff being a good upgrade and i can easily fix this one or replace it with an xj one, but I'm quite pressed for time these days and would like to know if i can just grab a zj one and have it be a simple direct bolt-on? thanks, shawn. Geonovast
Should bolt straight in. If it's a different diameter, you'll need to grab the bushings that go with it where it bolts to the frame.

I don't think he means sway bar. But the tie rod should be a direct bolt in, yes, then do a quick alignment.
Geonovast
Whoa... no idea how I misread that. Not quite awake over here, apparently. Don't know if the TREs are different or not, but the ZJ TREs should go into the XJ knuckle/draglink just fine.
mvusse
Only the V8 ZJ one is an upgrade. ZJs with the 4.0 have the exact same one you already have.
