Over 3" hail

All of my vehicles were inside. Neighbor's Oldsmobile took a series of direct hits from the hail:

Every expposed vehicle in the neighborhood looks like that. Two fire trucks responding to a tree that had fallen on a moving car, injuring and trapping the driver, about a half mile from my place were severely damaged as well, but none of the firefighters were injured. The wind plastered wet leaves so tightly onto everything they will likely have to be power-washed off. My roof vent cap is half off, I had 7 window screens torn out, and 3 ornamental shutters were shattered. Who knows what condition the roof is in once it gets inspected.

In 2002 this neighborhood was hit so hard with hail that it wound up almost 12" deep. That storm broke out ALL of my windows and beat the vinyl siding right off of the house and destroyed many of the shingles.

if yall are talking about that cell that went through yesterday, i was lucky. it rained for all over two minutes here and that was it! i saw the storm coming but it went all around us. then i saw it moving away on the other side of our property. very lucky to say in the least.

That front passed through here last night late. We got some hail, but nothing of the size that Incommando posted. Still a lot of power outages in some areas from downed power lines left over from the last bout of tornadoes that passed through here. This has been a rough year so far, and probably a lot more to come. :(
