SW86
so i was out wheelin' on some property right next to my house/trail property, just seeing if there was anything "fun" to drive on/through and as I'm driving out i see the cops. i think, "s**t, well we're cool so they won't stop."........wrong. as soon as they see me they throw it in reverse and damn near floored it. I'm thinking now, "f**k, i didnt do anything! lol" they wait for me to get to the road. i pull up. first thing Brian says to me, "is that the truck that'll go up and over that hill?" i was stunned. i mean i know the other two local cops good but this guy i don't know well at all. i sit and think and say, "what you mean the train tracks?" he says "yeah". i look at him and go "sometimes". as soon as i said that he quickly said, in a excited voice, "let me see it!" i couldnt believe my ears. i asked "you serious?" again he quickly says yes. so of course i did it but still i couldnt believe it. he's know for being an a$$hole but looks like now ive got all three locals in my pocket. i guess when your the only lifted jeep around and willing to put it through the paces, you get more attention then you know

SW86
I'm just glad (for once) its the south. everybody here is pretty much laid back. sure everybody is up everybody elses @$$ all the time but hell that just seems like life doesnt it. plus its good to know people. one day you might be in a situation where knowing or not knowing one person could make a difference. ive been there, and glad i did. huh. they treat me like the did my brother when he had a porsche 944 with nonturbo. second he put a turbo light on the back (with no turbo), he got pulled over 3 times a week. second I put bigger tires on my jeeps...i can't keep the cops away. damn. i drive my maxima with no hood on it and i never get stopped for it. ever. i could prolly put 40s on my Mj and no one would say sh*t. i mean theres just no laws like what all you guys have down here. and if there is, like i said before its the south. its all in good fun haha

Usually, if you're not hurting anybody, you won't run into trouble in these one-stoplight towns. But ever since I moved into this town (two-stoplights), I've had nothing but trouble. When I first moved here, I got stopped in a '91 Cougar for what the officer said was my "loud exhaust" but later revealed it was because the car was a POS and it was crammed full of junk. I had just bought that car, and it had every single thing I owned in it since I was moving. It was not insured (10 minute drive). Yes, I made a mistake, got my gigantic ticket, and got it over with. But any time this officer sees me in a different vehicle, I'm stopped instantly. It's quite annoying. I'm hardly a trouble maker, lol.
