kyleag89 Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 I found this hiding under the seat of a Cherokee I bought for parts. I think it is a knock sensor but I'm not sure. Image Not Found
Geonovast Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Looks nothing like a knock sensor. Knock sensors don't have a pigtail and have a plug that looks like an injector plug. Looks to me like a reverse light switch for the transmission.
kyleag89 Posted December 21, 2010 Author Posted December 21, 2010 Geonovast is right again... For an AX15, P/O must have bought it by mistake seeing as how the AW4 reverse switch was new on the trans. Image Not Found

Geonovast Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Those are very pretty. This is a knock sensor from a Renix Jeep.
mkbruin Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 Those are very pretty. This is a knock sensor from a Renix Jeep. That's fantastic. ;) While it may have been found "in" a renix jeep, it was under the seat and not attached to anything. Therefore, it could be from anythnig or anywhere, and not necessarily a part for this particular vehicle.
SW86 Posted December 21, 2010 Posted December 21, 2010 so is the one on the left a knock sensor? i don't think it is but it sort of looks like what you posted Geo
