echdaviem Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 got a new ipod, so i thought i'd figure out a way to mount it on the dash. i made myself a little stainless steel bracket that fits right under the stock clock on the dash. the new ipod nano has a clip in the back so i just clip it on, plug it in, and i have all my music available controlled by my raidio remote.
87Warrior Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 That is a nice, clean, Ipod mount set up. I can't stand seeing the larger Ipods mounted in a vehicle. Nice work with the little one. But I do have a question. If the Ipod can be controlled via the radio/remote why have it mounted and not tucked in the glove box?
echdaviem Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 i usually keep junk in the glove box, ergo junk+ipod=scratches all over the ipod. also i always take it with me so it's easier to take in and out of the truck.
thejum57 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 That's pretty awesome. I have a Sansa Fuse, and want to use it in the truck, but my radio doesn't have the jack for an MP3. :fs1:
btm24 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 very very nice, so how much for one? :brows: Brandon
echdaviem Posted November 25, 2010 Author Posted November 25, 2010 if some more people want one, i wouldn't mind making a few for a very reasonable price.
