drase
I have a manual window and I'm wondering if I have to take the door off and take the glass out of the door to get the door lock cylinder out?
lostissues
I just had to take off the inside door panel. then with the window up I was able to reach in using a tool to remove the clip that holds the cylinder in place. then I pulled the lock cylinder out a little and unhooked the rod that is connected to it. maddzz1
No you don't need to remove the glass. If the clip holding it in is stuck, like mine were, remove the black rubber thing on the side of the door (its actually a plug to give you access to a bolt for the door handle) and stick a long screwdriver in there against the clip and tap it with a hammer. M1A1TankerTom
its not hard at all, once you pull off the door panel and look at it it will be pretty self explanatory
fiatslug87
On a similar topic, are lock cylinders for manual lock the same as power lock cylinders?
johnnyc
Yes, they're the same.
