what extended brake lines are good?

I'm looking to buy some but don't really know where to go or what even to look for besides the lift length. can anyone help me out here? what about these?

I put a whole set of ones that would have gone on a YJ wrangler. The fronts are a lot longer, and the rear is longer too, though maybe not as long as one from a durango. Good luck.

the originals are already longers so if you take extended lines on top its better ........

you don't necessarily need the expensive stainless steel flex lines. stock rubber YJ lines from the auto parts store work great too. :thumbsup:

If you want steel braided, the Crown lines from Quadratec is the best deal I could find, and Crown makes decent brake lines. I ordered a set of these a few weeks ago(not my first set of crown lines, had em on my Samurai, and have a set for my ZJ) and they are nice, should do the trick. Plus theyre coated, which some of the cheaper SS ones arent. If you don't need steel braided, then as was mentioned, there are cheaper options. Those lines are the best deal you will likely find as far as normal retail(not a sale) prices on steel braided lines. I got the set with only one rear brake line since I am doing an axle swap and changing the brakes, and IIRC, it only ran me about $85.

YJ lines will work well. You can also bend the front hard lines and drill new mounting holes. They'll flex enough to gain a little more length, just be careful not to damage the lines. Bend them slowly by hand. Don't straighten them out so far down that they end up behind the shock or the shock could dig into line and damage it.

You can do something similar to the rear. I still need to secure my rear hard line with a different bracket.

There's no way I'd bend the factory hard lines on my truck. the rear ones I've dealt with are scary fragile. :ack: but then I live in Michigan, land of ice and salt.
