dasbrick Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 i have a chance of getting 33x12.50x15s and was wondering if i could run them on a stock MJ with metric ton pack
Geonovast Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Not without a lift, no. You'd probably want to regear as well.
dasbrick Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 if the tread is decent (i won't know until tomarrow) I might grab em anyways. My winter project is a SOA, so they will git then.
aabmike Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 You would need a lift, I am running 35's with an SOA and 4.5" coils on mine. Has 3:55 gears and is pretty sluggish up hills in 5th gear.
comanche09 Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 You could bumpstop the heck out of it, but then you won't have much suspension up travel.
Pete M Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 I have 30's and they rub in the wells when I go around a corner with any speed at all (or over bumps while cranked hard to the side) which rims?
mvusse Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Most 30s are 9.50 wide. They are a tad taller and wider than a 235/75R15 (29x9.25), which will (barely) rub the control arms on stock rims during full lock steering. Shouldn't touch the wheel wells, tough.
