Went to the mugbogs in Genoa City, WI today, hoping to see a few MJ's. I was not disappointed. There ended up being 4 that came to run, but one was under the minimum tire size (33"). 88MJXLS also tagged along, bringing the '88 that I used to own which is now his DD. The 2 MJ's I knew that ran were from a lurker on the group, IRISH. He's starting his own offroad shop, and just happens to have a couple MJ's for shop trucks. One is a '92 that was a 2.5L AX5 2WD, but is now a 4.0L AW4 4x4 with fullsize axles. The other is an '86 they got awhile ago that has the stock drivetrain 2.8L, auto, D30/35. He had told me the plans for the '86... They hate the 2.8L, and are taking it out anyway, so they planned on running a 600 HP shot of nitrous to help with the removal of the engine. :brows: So I just had to go. It was kind of crappy, once the first few trucks went in the 33" class there was this huge berm that was hard to get through. Here are some pics and vids:(All taken with my cell phone. 8) )

The '86

'86 Go BOOM! video

Turns out that they were able to drive it away later on. His co-owner was driving, and let off on the gas and nitrous at the same time, and blew it out through the carb.

The '92

'92 Run video

There was also 2 guys whom had never heard of the Comanche Club that were there, they both got business cards and magnets... :D They seemed pretty juiced to know that there was a club that loved the little trucks. Here are their trucks:

Only the guy in the short bed got to run though. Video

And my favorite, a 401 powered CJ that just tore it up!

Good day, and hopefully we get a few new guys stopping by... POST UP IF YOU STOP BY FELLAS!!!

It was a great day for the bogs! They had all the rigs start off on the very edge of the bog so no one was able to get a really good start, but the CJ's and Wranglers definitely held their own!
