MjPioneer
Today on lunch a co worker and I headed down to a local restaurant, originally I had planed on just grabbing a italian sub but that changed when I saw a chalk board sitting on the counter. "The Challenge!-5 half pound burgers, 5 baskets of fries. Eat in 45 minutes and your meal is free!" That doesn't sound like it would be to bad right? I mean 45 minutes that's plenty of time to eat 2.5 pounds of burger and about 1.5 pounds of fries...right? (Note:that is not me in this shot it is my co worker Aj, I took the picture of the meal.) After eating for what seemed like an eternity, I was put on "The wall of Shame" I got down the 5 patty burger with about 25-30minutes remaining, but couldn't handle so many damn fries, they just didn't end. I was disqualified for vomiting (That was a disappointing moment, a grown man who eats until he throws up :ack: ) After being disqualified I had to pay the $18.99 for the meal. Also point of interest, you get a free beverage of choice with the meal but you must drink it to complete the challenge (I chose Mello Yello) and wouldn't you know it a gosh darn fly flew into my drink...guess who had to drink it? :grrrr: When we returned to work, the remaining 5 hours were not pleasant. dasbulliwagen
I did a 42oz steak challenge at the Grille House in southern Michigan. I had 2 beers, 3 glasses of water, 2 bowls of salad, the 42oz steak, a baked potato, and a large slice of cheesecake. Afterward I felt suprisingly fine! Drove home even! Good try though, you might have to practice up, and go try again!

kastein
I'm not certain I could finish that... I had 8 or 9 burgers at one point this spring, that's no problem, but that many fries looks like pain. I did about 3/4 of the "gallon challenge" every day with dinner during college, and downed 1/2 gallon in 4.5 minutes at one point just prior to running across campus, so I'm pretty sure I could do the gallon challenge without barfing. Automan2164
Back when quad stackers came out at Burger King, the guys at work had their own little challenge. One guy who is a bottomless pit got a free lunch on us because he finished 4 quad stackers with bacon, one king fry and a large coke. Don't remember exactly, but I think it was around 4000-6000 calories... And after, he still had the pizza he brought in for lunch. Rob L.

I can demolish a triple whopper with cheese, king size drink, king size fry, and a large milkshake in under ten minutes, but 4 quad stackers AND the other stuff? holy cow.
