500 MJ Posted June 21, 2010 Share Posted June 21, 2010 1990, Jeep Comanche, Base. Stock Configuration: 4.0L / AW-4 / D35 / SWB Notes: I bought this truck on December 14th, 2007. It had 100,286 miles on it then and it was completely stock. I think that the factory color of this truck was Pearl White. It had a gray interior with a bench seat. The rear window was a one piece window, the wing windows were fixed. The truck did have Air Conditioning, but no power options, with the basic gauge cluster and column shift transmission shifter. The truck came with factory 10 hole steel wheels and black center-caps. No evidence of any previous uni-body damaging accidents. Current Configuration: 4.0L (Original) / AW-4 (Original) / D35 (Original) Notes: The truck is now painted multiple shades of white (whatever white spray bomb can was handy) The bed has inherited the drop in "Comanche" bedliner from my 1988 MJ as well as rec'd a Delta Champion Toolbox. The front bumper has been modified to accept $500 MJ's Front Tow Points. The interior is essentially stock. Air Conditioning has been completely removed from the truck. A 10 slot grille and fender badges from an '86 MJ have been added to the truck (not shown in pic). The motor is stock, with the addition of a Hesco Hi-flow Waterpump. The trans is stock. The rear axle is stock. The front axle is stock with the addition of Frozen Rotors slotted brake rotors. Wheels are 15 x 8" Jeep TJ Canyons. Current Mileage 114,500. Build date: Not Known Current Location: Fitchburg, Wisconsin. The truck was bought in Laurium, Michigan (I know I am at least the fourth owner - previous owner bought the truck from "University Auto Used Car Dealer, Sebastian Florida" - Sticker is still on the tailgate). Status: Daily Driver & Weekend Traveler Current & Forever owner: Brent Marsh I am going to keep this page up to date with the changes this truck goes through, there are still lots of things that are planned, I don't think it will ever be "done".
