help!!!! I HATE THIS TRUCK CANT FIGURE IT OUT!!!!!!!

ok 86 2.5 auto 2wd it has been running rich since i got it a month ago i have changed the following parts (cap,rotor,plugs,o2 sensor,air filter,mapsensor) but now worse than ever it won't idle unless you unhook a major vacumm line and when you stop at a red light people roll the window up i have went through 3 sets of plugs in a week i have soaked the injector to please help this is my only vehicle and its killing me thanks

Did you clean out or replace the vacuum lines?

 

What about cleaning out the CCV lines that go into the valve cover?

 

You can even take the valve cover off and clean out the gunk from inside that may be plugging one of the lines.

Mabey your exhaust manifold is so badly cracked that your O2 sensor is picking up incorrect O2 levels?

can you see the injector spraying properly? or is it just dribbling in the fuel?

yeah don't the early 2.5s have injector difficulties sometimes?

yea it looks like it is spraying and i will check out the manifold but after my 3rd bottle of seafoam its gettin better

Also try scrubbing the throttle body with a toothbrush and cleaner.

make sure you are getting good vacuum to the MAP sensor. Low vacuum at the MAP will simulate load causing it to run very rich
