Carpet/Back panel question.

I'm tired and I can't for the life of me remember this one. Do the bottom mounts for the rear panel go under or on top of the carpet?

bottom. there should be a flap in the carpet to cover the bracket.

under, and the carpet gets installed on the floor first.

Were the back panels something that all comanches came with? I didn't have one in mine when I got it, so I got one from the junkyard, but my truck doesn't have the mounting holes. It no big deal; I can drill a couple holes. I just thought it was interesting.

i don't believe they all came with one, the more stripped down the truck was brand new the less likely it is to have that trimpiece...

Most, not all Pioneers had the back carpet, never seen one in a Sportruck, unless.......it had bucket seats, then it had the back carpet.
