bed plugs

After reading a recent thread, I got curious. What is the purpose of the plugs at the front corners of the bed? And are they removeable/replaceable?

I believe they were for the bolt through for the frame rail supports for the roll bar...

i thought it was for water drainage?

i removed mine to drain the water,

so yes they are removable,

but i don't think there is replacements

how do you remove them? Can you put them back on once removed? Also, anyone have an extra frame support for the roll bar laying around?

They are "glued" in. Use a stiff putty knife, hammer it under the edge and work it all the way around, except the ends where the tabs are located (underneath), I also bent the large tab to vertical from underneath and scraped the adhesive away. Should end up like this.

my plugs look diffrent,

they have lips on them, where u just pull em out, and pop em back in?

but i have mis placed them so i cannot take a picture of them atm

They are not for drainage. The drain holes are at the bery front of the box, where the front wall meets the floor. Look closely and you'll see three crimped sections that form scuppers to allow water to drain out toward the cab.
