JeepcoMJ
bad idea. get an actual coil spacer, or at least some more factory coil isolators. that thing is no bueno, I see it failing frequently.
STERLING STINGER
the middle pic,(i know its sideways but it don't matter), seems to look like the booster is cut and wound on the spring?????? :dunno:
Geonovast
I don't see how you're going to be able to use that. The coil does not sit flat on the coil bucket on the axle.
Automan2164
Doesn't really look like one... I would suggest buying a quality polyurethane one for your Jeep (MJ/XJ/ZJ/TJ work) and not using what looks like a truck-stop one size fits all doorstops. How thick is that thing? Rob L. STERLING STINGER
man someone suggested this to get a little cheap lift for my truck....really? that sux! its like 2" thick
Automan2164
Get a pair of poly spacers made for a jeep off of ebay. Probably only run you like $30. Rob L.
STERLING STINGER
just unpacked and there is a slit in it so i assume you "thread" it into the spring with the body jacked up these are polyurathane these were like 15 bucks each
STERLING STINGER
ya its saying to just thread them in with weight off springs then lower it wtf???? sounds like theyd fall right out???
JeepcoMJ
STOP taking advice from whoever suggested that. and get some proper spacers. that thing is a truck stop abortion...no bueno.
STERLING STINGER
this sucks...ok ill listen to the experienced  i just want my truck to look like in the pic, lifted like 3" i thought there would be a cheap answer, but there never is, huh. so ill return these and order the spacers you request link? and can't i get ones to lift like 3" or is that too high? :dunno:
Automan2164
The most I would suggest on a spacer is 2"... Pick up some quality ones... If you want 3" get some good springs, and don't CHEAP OUT ON THOSE!!!!!!!! The plow will DESTROY cheap springs. At 3" you will also need new LCA's and brake lines. Rob L. JeepcoMJ
I've got a set of either 2" or 2.5" that I'm not using right now. to put those in, though, you have to remove the coils. that can be done by lifting it, jackstanding the frame, and letting weight off the coils, then renting a coil spring compressor from someplace like advance auto. you probably will need to unbolt the shocks, swaybar links, and trackbar to do that. Eagle
ya its saying to just thread them in with weight off springsthen lower it wtf???? sounds like theyd fall right out??? If you do any wheeling and droop the axle, they will fall out. Those things are made for gypsy shops to stick in the sagged out springs of older cars whose owners can't afford to buy new springs. For the 30 bucks they cost you, you probably could have bought a set of real coil spacers.
