HOrnbrod Posted February 4, 2010 Share Posted February 4, 2010 After 1991 the stock sway bar links were lengthened about 1-1/2". So pick up a pair of the newer links from a 1992 XJ and up. jimoshel Posted February 4, 2010 Share Posted February 4, 2010 If you like to tune your suspension, or just like to play, use 3/4 or 7/8 threaded rod. mvusse Posted February 4, 2010 Share Posted February 4, 2010 I ran 1.75" spacers (basically a 2" lift) and shock extensions with the stock links without a problem. driggity Posted February 8, 2010 Share Posted February 8, 2010 I recently picked up a swaybar from a 93 Grand Cherokee V8 and the links are longer than what are on my 88 Comanche. They seem to be the same shape. When I take the old swaybar off the Comanche I'll take a picture of the links side by side. Not sure when I'll be able to get to it though.
