CWLONGSHOT
Not sure, but modding yours is simple. I have made up a couple sets in the past. Simply cut yours and add a sleeve between the two pieces then weld it back together. Done!! CW
HOrnbrod
After 1991 the stock sway bar links were lengthened about 1-1/2". So pick up a pair of the newer links from a 1992 XJ and up. These are what I use on my MJ w. 3" lift - work fine.
comanche87
hey. thanks. its too cold to weld right now but i do like that the newer xj's had longer ones. ill have to wait to get money unless i can find a used pair for now.
mvusse
The probably stock because they were rusted all to hell and broke when I tried to remove them sway bar links on my 94 XJ were the exact same length as the probably stock because they were rusted all to hell and broke when I tried to remove them ones on my 87 MJ. jimoshel
If you like to tune your suspension, or just like to play, use 3/4 or 7/8 threaded rod. Be sure and cover the threads under the bushings with steel tubing. Use double nuts so you can lock them.
mnkyboy
is 2" even enough lift to worry about it? stock links should be ok.
mvusse
I ran 1.75" spacers (basically a 2" lift) and shock extensions with the stock links without a problem. A buddy's XJ wih a 3" lift (springs, LCAs, track bar and shocks) broke one link and badly bent another one.
driggity
I recently picked up a swaybar from a 93 Grand Cherokee V8 and the links are longer than what are on my 88 Comanche. They seem to be the same shape. When I take the old swaybar off the Comanche I'll take a picture of the links side by side. Not sure when I'll be able to get to it though. The ZJ bar and longer links will work just fine.
