No...not THAT kind of topless.....

our local club (Southside Jeepers) did a Jeep topless/doorless/windowless run today (club is mostly CJ/YJ/TJ's) down to a local national park. We met at headquarters early this morning, each bringing 2 cans of chili and fixins, and a roll of toilet paper. We all took off in the jeeps while most of the womenfolk stayed back and fixed up the chili, hot cocoa and garlic cheesy bread for when we got back about 6 hours later.

All in all, a great family day and a great way to start off the new year

Hey - I've been there! :D Looks like y'all had the place all to yourselves Jeff.

The Yorktown battlefields and Colonial Parkway are nice places for activities like that too.

yeah....Petersburg battlefield is like 5 minutes from my doorstep. Had to drive 25 minutes north so we could all drive back down PAST my house to see it, and then back up for the chili ;)

Jamestown Settlement is flat out awesome. If anyone here makes a visit to this part of VA and you care at all about American history, please take time out to visit it. Trust me, you will not be disappointed....

Cool idea.

But kind of a fatal one for us Canucks this time of year. Your pictures look like mid-September. :D

LOL......darn near fatal weather for Virginia though. It never got out of the 20's all day, and windy as all get out.

Canned chili never tasted so good ;)

It's been a few years, but I've been to the Petersburg battlefield too. It was a great time. Nice photos, they brought back some memories of when I visited. I hope you guys had as good a time as I did.

Looks like you all had a blast. to clarify what jeff said about the temps. The high was in the low 30's and the winds were blowing 15 to 25 mph all day putting the wind chills in the low 20's if not teens.

The things us Jeepers will do to show how tuff we are
