89comanchesleeper Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 hello every one. I'm new here and just got a 89 mj. 2wheel drive with a 2.5 and 5 speed. I'm doin my research on a sbc swap in it. i have pretty much found out all i need to know from this great site. the sbc is a 327 mated to a 4 spee saginaw. i would love to have a 4 speed in this truck with the sb. but the saginaw is a cable clutch and the truck has hydro. any one know of a converstion kit to put a hydro slave in the saginaw? or maybe run a cable and make it work.. any help or ideas would be great. thanks :cheers:

89comanchesleeper Posted January 3, 2010 Author Posted January 3, 2010 well for rt now I'm just gonna drive it. lol we just found out theres a baby on the way!. but I'm gonna keep it 2wheel drive and drop a 327 sbc in it with a saginaw 4 speed tranny and go hunt some ricers. lol but i have a lot of stuff to get together befor i start that swap.
