I don't have any dashboard directionals indicator lights. the directionals and emergency flashers all work outside. just can't tell from inside?

also, anybody installed a Grant steering wheel? I canr get the horn to work. do I use the brass horseshoe connector in the horn cap or not?

it's possible that the bulbs are simply burned out. When you pull the cluster to check, also look closely at the back wiring to see if there are any cracks or breaks in the lines.

i have a signature series wheel in mine, what model did you install? the challenger, classic and signature series all have different ways of powering the horn.... if it's a signature series wheel, the wire coming up from the column will attach right to the horn button and you don't use the plastic ring in the install kit.... if it's a challenger or classic here's a diagram from grant http://64.60.165.189/install/FORM5.html

I've thought of a grant wheel on mine. Does it make the steering wheel sit either closer or further away from the driver than the stock one? Mines an 87 with the BIG center and not the later three spoke.

The horn will also be different on some Comanches depending on the original steering wheel. On mine there is a plunger on the turn signal cancelling ring. You have to buy the Grant Horn kit which will replace the plunger with a wire. The grant horn kit also includes the horn button and spring. One more thing.. My Grant has Black painted spokes and Grant includes a little piece of adhesive tin foil so the horn will make good contact. I didn't know what that was for? I hate reading instructions. I almost threw it away.

The connector for your turn signal switch is on the bottom of your steering column. It's that long flat connector attached to your steering column. If I remember correctly the turn signal indicator wires are terminated in that connector. It's possible the connector became some what separated when you were installing the steering wheel. I'd make sure the connector is snapped on tight before taking too much of the dash apart.
