Between the spring rate and height yeah you should get around 1.5". I'm looking for a set to balance the lift I got in the rear with the MT springs. The ZJ springs looked like the best option.

The set i bought only netted me .75", I bought a set of XJ AALs for the rear to level it out but they werent needed.

I have a set of 3" XJ AALs (will lift MJ around 1.5") for another time i guess

stock ZJ coils are about 1.5 taller then stock Mj coils?

No.

V8 ZJ coils are the same part number as 2000 XJ "Up Country" coils, and the Up Country XJ rides 1" higher than standard. So ZJ V8 coils in like-new condition would give you approximately 1" of lift. If your old coils are badly sagged it may look like more than an inch from where you started, but it'll be one inch higher than stock specs.

thanks for verifying!!

Note, though, that I emphasized "V8." 6-cylinder ZJ coils won't give you any lift at all on a 6-cylinder MJ. They might give you a bit on a 4-cylinder ... which leads me to suggest that the V8 ZJ coils might (*MIGHT*) generate 1-1/2" in a 4-cylinder MJ.

well i got me a 6cylinder and I'm looking for any lift between 1-3 inches.. i was thinking of getting 3inch add-a-leafs and prob getting 3 inch coils in the front :wrench: its not as exspensive as I had thought

Know this though to get the full effect and ride quality/handling out of a full 3"+ lift youll also need an adjustable track bar, LCAs and likely longer brake lines. once you pass 2-2.5" of lift the costs just go up to do it right ;)
