Momma anted me out of the kitchen and outta her hair!!! SO, I headed out to the garage!!

I swapped the battery in the XJ, only to find that it was toast.. ONLY 8 years out of it..

Then I swapped the tires on it and changed the oil too.

Then I wired up pops horn and straightened up the garage too!!

just got done putting it all back together.......wow, what a difference. Turns out I had an intake manifold leak too at #'s 3 and 4. Fixed all that with a new gasket, did an oil change, coolant change (obviously), new plugs, serpentine belt, cleaned the TB, and went and filled it up with gas. The thing is actually kinda fun to drive once again ;)

I got my mj running last week, found a ground strap had rubbed/melted thru the CPS wire. so wednesday went to the dmv to get renew the plate tabs. so turkey day I needed to run to walmart for a few last minute things for dinner, decided to take the boy and go for a ride in the truck.

get into the truck to leave walmart and it doesn't start. had wife come pick us up after 20 minutes of banging on the starter, checking battery connections and doing the old screwdriver starter jump which didn't work. no auto parts stores open on turkey day. so first thing on black friday I am laying on my back chaging a starter in the walmart parking lot. fun fun
