knever3 Posted November 9, 2009 Share Posted November 9, 2009 I don't think large shackles are the answer. If you install longer shackles the pinion angle will change causing vibration. Just my opinion, I haven't tried them, but they are a great idea especially since everyone wants to "level" their truck after a lift, I guess I will wait to see what mine looks like and maybe I will give them a shot! Eagle Posted November 9, 2009 Share Posted November 9, 2009 To get 3-1/2" of lift the shackles would have to be 7" LONGER THAN STOCK. Lateral forces of the springs would be huge.
