Automan2164 Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 yeah I'm keepin it i thought a car seat was illegal to put in a reg cab truck. guess i though wrong Illegal ONLY if you have airbags... :brows: Rob L.
Automan2164 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 air bags :rotf: Exactly. Unless you have some sort of experimental MJ, there are no airbags. Rob L.
87Warrior Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 don't get rid of that thing. Especially on CL. God knows what would happen to it. Hey now, I resemble that comment ;) My 92 was a CL find that I paid waaaaaaayyyyyy too much for. Never tried to find the build date. Will do that tomorrow... when it is light and not cold outside :ack:
Pete M Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 If I remember right, it should be a sticker on the drivers door somewhere.
Geonovast Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 It's not really the most reliable way though... after all this time, for all you know, that's not the original door. Don't they usually have a build sheet under the carpet?
87Warrior Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Certainly did not find any build sheet under my carpet. Door sticker VIN matches the dash so I can assume it is the original door. September '91 for me.
Pete M Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Sometimes the build sheet is behind the door panel, sometimes it's shoved into the underside of the seat. Usually it's looooong gone.
Onabudget Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 I'm goin to check the door and the vin
