Good lift kit?

I had that kit, but that was way back when Rusty's was a quality small company, just starting out... I can't speak from recent experience, but the stuff they make now is sub-par, according to other members... Try hellcreeksuspensions.com and talk to Tom. He is a member here, make his own leaf packs, and puts kits together with RC stuff.

whichever kit you get, I would recommend new lower control arms for 3".

I didnt plan on doing anything with my control arms seeing as how I am only going 3". I'm not concerned with ride quality, this is just a beater truck that has way too much rust to save.

stock control arms pull the tire backwards in the wheelwell as height increases. caster suffers too, as well as the stock track bar will pull the front axle over to the passenger side a bit.
