I was looking at a rack similar to this and was thinking with a little fabbing could make it work. I don't know if anyone has tried this or not, but just an idea that popped in the ol dome. I kinda thought the whole thing would sit too high for my liking and the basket would have to be pretty narrow. Not sure if there are any shorter gutter mounts. I know someone posted a modified Yakima basket at one time and I thought it looked pretty good. I started to do this project as well, because I had a Yakima Loadwarrior basket.
