Freekin' Cali Angles

Today was a good day,

I got a little further on the MJ,

and DID NOT watch the ball game. :D

It's tough to be a Red Sox fan, because now we have to root for the team that beat us.

Oh well, it was an awesome season,

we have a great team, with the pieces to go the distance,

but it didn't all click together when it needed to,

and we got the elimination we deserved to get.

Just hope the Angels keep riding this hot streak right through the Yank-me's

No can do. I'll NEVER root for a team from Cali, including the Dodgers who also look like they're well on their way on the other side. Bad as it sounds, got to go w. the Yanks. Wish Manny was back in Boston. :(

[Hands covering ears while singing "la la la la I can't hear you"] I wasn't here, I didn't post in this Red Sox thread [/hands covering ears]

;)

in all honesty thou, I have no problem taking California > NYY.

If Red China put together a baseball team, and called themselves "The Barack Obama's", I'd still pick them over the Yanks. :rotf:

Lol. Spoken like a diehard Yankee hating Sox fan. I left NE a long time ago, and the Yank hatred has mellowed. :D If it comes down to it, I'd root for (gasp) the NL Phillies or the Rockies over the Cali Angels. If it ends up the Angels vs. Dodgers in the series, I ain't watching it. Who cares?

If an Obama team ever came to fruition (prolly be from Iraq or Iran though, not Red China), no way; I'd would finally then have to go w. a Cali team..........

Go Angels. If it came down to a freeway series, it would be tough. I'm also a Dodgers fan, having lived in the Valley for many years.

I understand that a lot of people don't like California, and that's fine. But baseball is baseball and the World Series is the World Series. A true baseball fan would watch the Series no matter who was playing. Hell, I watched the Yankees and Mets back in 2000.

I know a couple of real Sox fans who moved here from Boston. And like jpnjim, they are magnaminous in defeat.

Yes, you are right johnnyc. I was disappointed in the Sox when I posted last. Of course I'll be watchin' the Series, but it just won't be as much fun w/o the BoSox in the mix. :(

You spelled Angels wrong.

For that, you will need to hand your moderator powers over to me.

Ya got me goblazers. I've had trouble with that word forever. But in this case it fits.

It'll be interesting to see how the Angles fare against the Yanks.
