not sure but i think that's the ccv hose.... it's goes into the stock airbox

What are we looking at? WBBKrazy mentioned the stock air box, but it looks to me like this vehicle doesn't have a stock air box.

 

Is there an arrow in that photo that I'm not seeing?

its the little hose that has the red lines around it. it wasnt hooked up to the stock aorbox when i got the truck but it could have been pulled out by the PO.

The disconnected hose goes to the stock airbox. I think it is the heat control on the inlet air. I agree with Dakal- I would plug it. It's causing you a vacuum leak. (It may also be how your comanche gets it daily dose of yuengling black and tan.)

Over to the right of your line with the red outline there is a 90 degree fitting coming out of a black box, about 2-3 inches over from the end of your line, might it go there? I noticed another vacuum line coming from that box. :dunno:

That line does go to the bi-metal temp sensor at the back of the stock air box. The line directly behind it goes to the EGR solenoid on the fender (right of your picture) which you can see is connected.

Yes i had the same prob when i put a snorkel on i just put it in the one with the 90 angle piece ;)

looks like it was supposed to go in that sensor by your filter.
