Where is the fuel pump ballast resistor? I think that is reason why my fuel pump is on a switch. The wire runs from the battery to an orange wire inside the cab, behind the seat. Thanks for your help.

Myron,I think your looking too close to the firewall, the resistor is supposed to mount closer to the to the L/front corner of the engine compartment.

The overflow bottle runs the all the way down. I took it off and there is nothing behind it. Is the ballast resistor only on the 6cyl? Or maybe in a different place on the 2.5?

I did a check in my electrical troubleshooting manual for the 88 comanche. It only shows the ballast resistor on the 4.0 engine fuel control schematic only.
