Anyone else useing this setup by chance. Or know someone that is........Been thinking about going with long arms and selling my RE superflex short arms.

The chance to do it is here.......but unsure about this setup , its a toss up between these and the RE long arms ???????

Any feed back on the TnT components is appreciated THANKS.

I would definitely go with the TnT arms over the RE longarms. I bent design of the arm on the TnT is a little better, but the attachment method and design of the crossmember on the TnT is miles ahead of the RE.

I would go the TNT kit without a doubt. I love mine to death. The flex is awesome. The mounting system is unbeatable. Plus you don't give up much ground clearence at all.

It is a well biult kit and the customer service from Bob is great.

I love the design of the Y-link and spoke with Matt from TnT (smart dude, great info)

I have all my $#!& ready to go as far as add-ons and measurements (running an AW4 out of a Grand)

I just have to my YJ to come up with the cash :popcorn:

My main problem with the short arms is that due to the geometry of the 4 link , it tries to maintain caster through out the full travell of the suspension.......this is causing the driveshaft u-joint at the pinion yoke to bind prmaturely before full droop.

So I currently have my travel limited to keep this from happening. My only options that I have come up with are the long arms.....which keep the pinion angle constant throughout the travell......and the other is an offset trunion u-joint from tom woods , which gives 10 degrees more angularity than a stock u-joint before binding.

 

In unlimited form with the drveshaft out , it will droop at least 4/5" more without binding anything else........I have already talked myself into the TnT Y-Link. Just waiting for an email to see if I own the kit I was looking at. :D

Get a helper. The TNT system is great, but a MAJOR pain in the Arse to put on.

 

Also read the instructions all the way through. There is a couple of steps that have to be done out of the order listed, because they need to be done first.

Yep.......I subscribe to JP , and have the issue sitting in front of me LOL. Thats where I first seen the TnT stuff.

This is going to be a major pain to install cuz after looking at a few pics of this it seems that it may interfear with my rock rails.......Knew i should have waited to build them DAM

Anyone else running the Y-link. I'm saving my pennies for one. Would love to see more pics of the kit on Comanches. :D

i have seen comanche33 truck and that thing is nice he is running TnT there is a few pic of his truck over on my page of the ebay speacial build.

This is the only way to fly. A few of my buddys have ran rustys and were not happy at all. This thing has out flexed them all and the clearence is awesome. Mine has flexed out far enough to actually let the left front spring fall out. Thats with a 7.5 inch lift. It is totally unbeleivable what it will do. The on the street ride quality is second to none. TNT all th eway and don't look back it is money well spent in my opinion.

Would you be able to get a couple pics of up into the crossmember from the front? I can't tell how the links mount to the member, and TnT doesn't have any pics of it.

 

And does it have heims, or work off the threaded adjustments to rotate?

It uses Rubicon Express Flex Joints at the crossmember. On the front edge of the crossmember they built pockets for the arm to mount up in to. I will look to see if I have a front shot in the album. The adjustments are a pain because you do have to loosen the arm from the crossmember. The arms come preset at thestock length and you can adjust them accordingly as you install them. I pushed my front axle ahead about an inch.
