sureshot007 Posted May 2, 2009 Posted May 2, 2009 Hi, my name is Jim and I recently acquired my first MJ - its an 86 Comanche Custom, or so the title says. It's currently logbooks for Rally America Group 2 and SCCA ITE, but I plan on rallying it primarily. You may see me asking questions such as "what the hell wire is this?" and "how do I get his out?" I have owned an 85 Cherokee in the past, but my expertise does not lie in jeeps. This is what it looked like when I bought it. We have had to do some work to it, so I'll take some newer pics once I get the updated sponsor vinyl on it. The plan is to run STPR in June.

sureshot007 Posted May 2, 2009 Author Posted May 2, 2009 It has the 2.5L. It's nothing special, because it's going to be my first Stage Rally, and I am more concerned with finishing than going fast. Maybe next season there might be a 4.0L swap in the cards...

sureshot007 Posted May 14, 2009 Author Posted May 14, 2009 The cage isn't as pretty as I would like it to be...I bought it that way, and it's just enough to be legal to get into stage rally. I'll get some pics as soon as we square away a few more things, like the hydraulic hand brake...
